How to Check the HS Result Online
- Open the official result website (resultsassam.nic.in) or the result link on ahsec.assam.gov.in.
- Choose the HS (Class 12) result link for the year.
- Enter your roll number and any other details asked on the page.
- Submit, view your result and download or print the marksheet.
Other Ways to Get the Result
- DigiLocker: log in to digilocker.gov.in or the app and look for the board result or marksheet if it has been issued there.
- SMS: the board sometimes publishes an SMS number in its notice. Use only the number given in the official notice.
- School: your school can share the result and the original marksheet and certificates.
What You Need
- Your HS roll number (on the admit card).
- Registration details, if asked.
- A phone or computer with internet, and storage or a printer for the marksheet.
Understanding the Marksheet
The marksheet lists subject-wise marks, grades and the final result. For subjects with practicals, theory and practical marks appear separately. Check your name, roll number, date of birth and every subject mark carefully; the online marksheet is provisional and your institution issues the original documents.
Passing Criteria
Passing rules are fixed by the board. Most reports describe a minimum of 30% in each subject, with separate minimums for practical components. Read the exact rule in the board’s official notice, and see our AHSEC exam pattern page.
If the Server Is Slow
Result sites are very busy on result day. Wait a few minutes and retry, try DigiLocker, and avoid unofficial sites that ask for payment or personal data.
What to Do After the Result
- Collect your marksheet and certificates from your institution.
- If you disagree with a mark, follow the board’s rechecking or scrutiny notice and deadlines.
- If you need to improve in a subject, watch for the compartment or supplementary exam notice.
- Start planning college admissions or entrance exams; see our Class 12 guide.
