TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR LEEPIE

Welcome to Leepie (the “App”, “Platform”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”).

By registering an account, accessing our educational content, purchasing any subscription, or executing a transaction on the Leepie mobile application or website, you (“User”, “Student”, or “Parent/Guardian”) express unconditional acceptance of and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Platform.

1. LEGAL AGREEMENT & ELIGIBILITY

  • 1.1 Binding Contract: These Terms constitute a legally binding electronic contract between you and Leepie under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and rules made thereunder.

  • 1.2 Age and Guardianship: If the student using this App is under eighteen (18) years of age, the registration and purchase must be performed by a parent or legal guardian. By proceeding, the parent/guardian assumes full legal and financial responsibility for the account’s actions.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & CONTENT PROTECTION

All content hosted on Leepie—including videos, live streams, mock tests, PDFs, graphics, animations, source code, and text—is the exclusive intellectual property of the Management and is protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.

  • 2.1 Single-User Limited License: Purchases grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, single-user license to stream and view the content for personal educational use only.

  • 2.2 Anti-Piracy Restrictions: Users are strictly prohibited from downloading (unless explicitly permitted via an “Offline View” app feature), copying, redistributing, selling, or modifying any material.

  • 2.3 Screen-Recording Prohibited: Leepie implements internal digital tracking, anti-screen-recording protocols, and dynamic watermarking. Any attempt to record the screen via software or external hardware, or sharing login credentials to allow multi-user access, will result in automated account locking.

  • 2.4 Civil & Criminal Prosecution: If any user is found distributing or leaking Leepie course materials on external media (such as Telegram, YouTube, WhatsApp, or cloud drives), the Management will permanently terminate the account without notice or refund and aggressively pursue criminal prosecution and civil damages under Sections 43 and 66 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

3. ACCOUNT SECURITY & CONCURRENT LOGINS

  • 3.1 Device Restrictions: To prevent commercial exploitation, access to a paid account is limited to a single registered mobile or desktop session at any given time.

  • 3.2 Automated Fraud Detection: If our security system detects an anomalous geographic login footprint (e.g., logging in from two distant locations simultaneously), the account will be auto-flagged and locked. Account re-activation will require verified, manual identity verification via our support team.

4. USER CONDUCT & COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

  • 4.1 Classroom Decorum: Users must maintain strict decorum during live sessions, discussion forums, and comment sections.

  • 4.2 Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Use of abusive, defamatory, profane, political, obscene, or threatening language against teachers, fellow students, or Leepie representatives will result in immediate and permanent account termination with no right to a refund.

5. CONDITIONAL REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Because Leepie delivers instant, non-returnable digital content, all sales are structurally considered final. A partial or full refund may be evaluated strictly at the sole and absolute discretion of the Management, subject to the absolute fulfillment of both of the following conditions:

  • 5.1 The 10% Consumption Ceiling: A user is completely ineligible to apply for or receive a refund if they have accessed, streamed, downloaded, or viewed more than 10% of the total content of the purchased course, module, or test series. Our automated server logs and backend telemetry shall serve as the final, absolute proof of content consumption percentage.

  • 5.2 Verification of Valid Grounds: Refund requests will not be entertained for personal changes of mind, lack of interest, or personal device incompatibility. To establish a “valid ground,” the User must submit undeniable documentary evidence of:

    • Major Technical Defect: Clear video or screenshot proof that the Platform failed to deliver the purchased content due to a backend server or database error on our part, which our engineering team could not resolve within seventy-two (72) business hours of a formal support ticket.

    • Accidental Duplicate Purchase: Clear bank statements or payment gateway receipts proving double billing for the exact same course within a 24-hour window.

  • 5.3 Sole Discretion Clause: The submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval. The Management reserves the exclusive, unchallengeable right to judge the validity of the submitted grounds. The decision of Leepie’s internal compliance team to approve or reject a refund request shall be final, binding, and non-litigable.

  • 5.4 How to Apply & Timelines: Eligible users must raise a formal dispute by emailing leepieapp@gmail.com within forty-eight (48) hours of the purchase timestamp. Any requests received after 48 hours will be automatically rejected, regardless of content consumption percentage. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment source within 7 to 10 working days, minus standard payment gateway transaction fees.

6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • 6.1 Academic Outcomes: Leepie provides high-quality educational resources, guidance, and preparatory material. However, We do not guarantee specific marks, exam qualifications, rank rankings, placements, or academic outcomes in any school board, university, or competitive examinations (including but not limited to ASSEB, SEBA, AHSEC).

  • 6.2 Service Availability (“As Is”): The platform is provided on an “As Is” and “As Available” basis. Management is not liable for temporary disruptions caused by statewide internet bans, telecom network outages, routine server maintenance, or Force Majeure events (acts of God, civil unrest, floods).

  • 6.3 Liability Cap: In no event shall Leepie, its founders, or instructors be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum total liability for any dispute or claim arising from your use of the platform shall be strictly capped at the exact amount paid by you for the specific course in question.

7. EXCLUSIVE LEGAL JURISDICTION & GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced strictly in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

  • 7.1 Guwahati Jurisdiction Clause: Any dispute, claim, legal grievance, or legal proceeding arising directly or indirectly out of the use of Leepie, its payment structures, or its content shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Guwahati, Assam, India to the exclusion of all other courts.

8. INDEMNIFICATION

The User agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Leepie, its directors, employees, and content creators from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses resulting from the user’s breach of these Terms, misuse of the app, or violation of any third-party rights.

9. AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS

Management reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior specific notification. The updated version will be available directly within the App interface. Continued use of the platform after updates implies dynamic acceptance of the revised terms.
