TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR LEEPIE

Welcome to Leepie (the “App”, “Platform”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”).
By registering an account, accessing our educational content, purchasing any subscription, or executing a transaction on the Leepie mobile application or website, you (“User”, “Student”, or “Parent/Guardian”) express unconditional acceptance of and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Platform.
1. LEGAL AGREEMENT & ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Binding Contract: These Terms constitute a legally binding electronic contract between you and Leepie under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and rules made thereunder.
1.2 Age and Guardianship: If the student using this App is under eighteen (18) years of age, the registration and purchase must be performed by a parent or legal guardian. By proceeding, the parent/guardian assumes full legal and financial responsibility for the account’s actions.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & CONTENT PROTECTION
All content hosted on Leepie—including videos, live streams, mock tests, PDFs, graphics, animations, source code, and text—is the exclusive intellectual property of the Management and is protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
2.1 Single-User Limited License: Purchases grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, single-user license to stream and view the content for personal educational use only.
2.2 Anti-Piracy Restrictions: Users are strictly prohibited from downloading (unless explicitly permitted via an “Offline View” app feature, or, for PDFs bought in the Leepie store, as set out in Section 11), copying, redistributing, selling, or modifying any material.
2.3 Screen-Recording Prohibited: Leepie implements internal digital tracking, anti-screen-recording protocols, and dynamic watermarking. Any attempt to record the screen via software or external hardware, or sharing login credentials to allow multi-user access, will result in automated account locking.
2.4 Civil & Criminal Prosecution: If any user is found distributing or leaking Leepie course materials on external media (such as Telegram, YouTube, WhatsApp, or cloud drives), the Management will permanently terminate the account without notice or refund and aggressively pursue criminal prosecution and civil damages under Sections 43 and 66 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
3. ACCOUNT SECURITY & CONCURRENT LOGINS
3.1 Device Restrictions: To prevent commercial exploitation, access to a paid account is limited to a single registered mobile or desktop session at any given time.
3.2 Automated Fraud Detection: If our security system detects an anomalous geographic login footprint (e.g., logging in from two distant locations simultaneously), the account will be auto-flagged and locked. Account re-activation will require verified, manual identity verification via our support team.
4. USER CONDUCT & COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
4.1 Classroom Decorum: Users must maintain strict decorum during live sessions, discussion forums, and comment sections.
4.2 Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Use of abusive, defamatory, profane, political, obscene, or threatening language against teachers, fellow students, or Leepie representatives will result in immediate and permanent account termination with no right to a refund.
5. CONDITIONAL REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
This Section applies to courses, modules and test series. Downloadable PDFs bought in the Leepie store are covered by Section 11.5 instead.
Because Leepie delivers instant, non-returnable digital content, all sales are structurally considered final. A partial or full refund may be evaluated strictly at the sole and absolute discretion of the Management, subject to the absolute fulfillment of both of the following conditions:
5.1 The 10% Consumption Ceiling: A user is completely ineligible to apply for or receive a refund if they have accessed, streamed, downloaded, or viewed more than 10% of the total content of the purchased course, module, or test series. Our automated server logs and backend telemetry shall serve as the final, absolute proof of content consumption percentage.
5.2 Verification of Valid Grounds: Refund requests will not be entertained for personal changes of mind, lack of interest, or personal device incompatibility. To establish a “valid ground,” the User must submit undeniable documentary evidence of:
Major Technical Defect: Clear video or screenshot proof that the Platform failed to deliver the purchased content due to a backend server or database error on our part, which our engineering team could not resolve within seventy-two (72) business hours of a formal support ticket.
Accidental Duplicate Purchase: Clear bank statements or payment gateway receipts proving double billing for the exact same course within a 24-hour window.
5.3 Sole Discretion Clause: The submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval. The Management reserves the exclusive, unchallengeable right to judge the validity of the submitted grounds. The decision of Leepie’s internal compliance team to approve or reject a refund request shall be final, binding, and non-litigable.
5.4 How to Apply & Timelines: Eligible users must raise a formal dispute by emailing leepieapp@gmail.com within forty-eight (48) hours of the purchase timestamp. Any requests received after 48 hours will be automatically rejected, regardless of content consumption percentage. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment source within 7 to 10 working days, minus standard payment gateway transaction fees.
6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
6.1 Academic Outcomes: Leepie provides high-quality educational resources, guidance, and preparatory material. However, We do not guarantee specific marks, exam qualifications, rank rankings, placements, or academic outcomes in any school board, university, or competitive examinations (including but not limited to ASSEB, SEBA, AHSEC).
6.2 Service Availability (“As Is”): The platform is provided on an “As Is” and “As Available” basis. Management is not liable for temporary disruptions caused by statewide internet bans, telecom network outages, routine server maintenance, or Force Majeure events (acts of God, civil unrest, floods).
6.3 Liability Cap: In no event shall Leepie, its founders, or instructors be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum total liability for any dispute or claim arising from your use of the platform shall be strictly capped at the exact amount paid by you for the specific course in question.
7. EXCLUSIVE LEGAL JURISDICTION & GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced strictly in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
7.1 Guwahati Jurisdiction Clause: Any dispute, claim, legal grievance, or legal proceeding arising directly or indirectly out of the use of Leepie, its payment structures, or its content shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Guwahati, Assam, India to the exclusion of all other courts.
8. INDEMNIFICATION
The User agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Leepie, its directors, employees, and content creators from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses resulting from the user’s breach of these Terms, misuse of the app, or violation of any third-party rights.
9. AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS
Management reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior specific notification. The updated version will be available directly within the App interface. Continued use of the platform after updates implies dynamic acceptance of the revised terms.
10. STATUTORY COMPLIANCE & GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the name and contact details of the Grievance Officer for Leepie are provided below:

11. LEEPIE STORE: DIGITAL PDF PURCHASES
This Section applies to downloadable PDFs (notes, books, question papers and bundles) bought on the Leepie website at leepie.in. Where it differs from another Section, this Section prevails for store purchases.
11.1 What You Buy: Each product is a digital PDF made available in “My Library” after your payment is confirmed. Nothing is shipped. The price shown at checkout, in Indian rupees, is the price you pay. See our Delivery Policy.
11.2 Your Account: You may register with an email address and password, or sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login safe and for everything done through your account. If the student is under eighteen (18), the purchase must be made by a parent or legal guardian, as in Section 1.2.
11.3 Personal Licence and Personalised Copies: A purchase gives one person a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and read the file for their own study. Every copy is personalised: a licence page after the cover shows the buyer’s name, email address, mobile number, order number and purchase date, and a small mark with the buyer’s email address appears on the inner pages. You must not remove or alter these marks, or share, resell, upload, post or otherwise distribute the file or any part of it. Breach of this clause allows us to suspend or terminate the account without refund and to take action as described in Section 2.4.
11.4 Download Limits: Each file may be downloaded up to five (5) times in any 24 hours. Download links are private to you, work once and expire after about a minute. We may pause downloads on an account that is used from many different devices or networks in a short time, until you contact us.
11.5 Refunds for Store PDFs: A PDF is delivered instantly and can be copied once downloaded, so the 10% test in Section 5.1 does not apply and a downloaded file is treated as fully consumed. A refund is considered, at the discretion of the Management, only for: (a) the same product paid for twice within 24 hours; (b) payment taken but the files not available in My Library, where we have not resolved it within seventy-two (72) business hours of your support request; or (c) a file that is corrupted, incomplete or materially different from its description, where we cannot fix it or replace it. Requests must be emailed to leepieapp@gmail.com within forty-eight (48) hours of the purchase, with your order number and the payment receipt. Changes of mind and lack of interest are not valid grounds. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days, minus standard payment gateway fees. If a payment fails and money is deducted, it is returned to you by your bank or by us. See our Refund Policy.
11.6 Nature of the Material: Store PDFs are study resources prepared by Leepie. They are not official publications of ASSEB, SEBA or AHSEC, and Section 6.1 (no guarantee of results) applies. We work to keep them accurate; if you find an error, please tell us.
11.7 Payments and Privacy: Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login details. How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. FREE AND PAID CONTENT, INCLUDING VIDEO LESSONS
This Section explains how free and paid content work on Leepie, now and in future.
12.1 Free Content: Video lessons, notes and practice that are currently offered without charge are provided free of charge on an “As Is” basis. Free access is a facility we choose to provide. It is not a promise or contract to keep any content free, or available, for any period.
12.2 Right to Introduce Paid Content: We may, at any time and at our discretion, make any content or feature (including video lessons, live classes, notes and tests) paid, in whole or in part, and may offer it as a one-time purchase, a course, a subscription or a bundle. We may also change, limit, move behind a paywall or withdraw free content. A paid option is binding on you only if you choose it and complete payment. We will not charge you without your own action at checkout, and a subscription will renew automatically only if this is clearly stated before you pay and you have agreed to it.
12.3 What You See Before You Pay: Before payment we will show the price in Indian rupees, what is included, and how long access lasts. Those details, together with these Terms, the Refund Policy and any specific terms shown at purchase, form your agreement for that purchase. If they conflict, the terms shown at purchase prevail for that purchase.
12.4 Paid Video Courses: Unless we expressly say otherwise, paid video lessons are for streaming within the App by the purchasing user only, for the access period shown at purchase. Sections 2 and 3 apply: no downloading, recording, copying or sharing, and access is limited to one registered session at a time. When the access period ends, access ends, and an extension is a new purchase.
12.5 Pricing and Taxes: Prices may change from time to time. A change applies only to later purchases and does not affect a purchase you have already completed. Prices include or exclude taxes as shown at checkout, and any taxes that apply by law are payable by you.
12.6 Existing Purchases: If content you have already paid for is later withdrawn by us, other than because of your breach of these Terms or a legal requirement, we will give you access to equivalent content or a fair refund of the unused part of the access period.
12.7 Refunds: Refunds for paid courses, video lessons and test series are governed by Section 5, and refunds for store PDFs by Section 11.5.
