What Is the HSLC Routine?
The HSLC routine is the official exam time table for Class 10 students in Assam. It lists the date, day and time of every paper, and the subject. It is issued by ASSEB Division-I (formerly SEBA), and schools usually also display or share it with students.
Where to Find the Official Routine
- The official ASSEB / SEBA website (sebaonline.org).
- The notice board or circular of your school.
- Your subject teachers and class group, after you confirm the information is from the school.
Be careful with unofficial PDFs and social media posts. Compare any routine you see with the official site before you make plans.
What the Routine Usually Includes
| Detail | What to note |
|---|---|
| Date and day | Count the gap days between papers |
| Subject and paper | Core subjects and your elective or vocational subject |
| Time | Reporting time and exam duration |
| Instructions | Admit card, allowed items and exam centre rules |
How to Plan Around the Routine
- Print the routine and stick it where you study.
- Mark each paper on a calendar and list the chapters left for each subject.
- Keep your hardest subjects for the longest gaps, and light revision for short gaps.
- Solve one timed previous-year paper for each subject before its date.
- Keep your admit card, pens, geometry box and ID ready the night before.
